Welcome to my World

For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by old things and fondly recall family trips mudlarking on the banks of the river Thames. Amongst chipped pottery, clay pipe fragments and assorted detritus from distant bygone years my top find was, undoubtedly, a 1932 oval enameled boat mooring plate which I found nestling under a rock! A beautiful work of typography, I have it still. Along with a fascination for history and old stuff – way, way, way before vintage became a tired over used cringe worthy cliche of a word! – I knew at age 11 that I wanted to be an Artist and at age 16 walked into ‘The Chalk Farm Gallery’ in Camden to see if the owner would be interested in selling my abstract oil pastels.
